I’m the founder of the lifestyle blog, HomeTold by Elena. HomeTold with Elena is home to hyperlocal stories about North County San Diego. My goal is to help the community find new experiences in North County by focusing on the  stories that provide a local’s perspective, connection and fulfill a sense of adventure. I interview locals to learn their story while sharing their favorite spots in North County San Diego or in the city I’m visiting.

I’m the co-founder of the travel, lifestyle & news blog, Our Perpetual Discovery. My husband is the other contributor (co-founder) of the blog. We created the blog during a 15-month adventure in Paris, France as a way to share our travel experiences with others and also to continue to use our reporting, production & editing skills. During our time in Europe, I reported on the Seine river flooding in Paris, the rare February 2018 snow storm in Paris and travel tips while visiting Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
